What is weight management?
Weight management is a long-term approach to a healthy lifestyle. It includes a balance of healthy eating and physical exercise to equate energy expenditure and energy intake. Developing healthy eating habits that will keep us fuller for longer can be useful tools in weight management. Knowing what your body needs is important to weight management and can control over consumption and under consumption of food.
Weight management does not include fad diets that promote quick, temporary weight loss. It focuses on the long-term results.
Why use Mark Lole PT?
Most personal trainers will try and sell you weight loss programs and that’s fine but most personal trainers are only level 3 qualified. Their experience and knowledge on the subject may be limited.
I am a level 4 master instructor, I specialise in weight loss, weight management and nutrition. I have the knowledge, understanding and experience to help my clients achieve their weight loss goals and more important keep them there!
Motivation and support
I have worked with many people that have tried and failed to lose and/or maintain their weight on various fad diets and exercise routines. Many people come to me for help and most think that they will never achieve their goals. They believe it is impossible to do so without becoming a different person with a completely different lifestyle.
This is not the case, yes you will need to make lifestyle changes and yes at times it is hard work but the changes are gradual and I’m there to help you all the way through. Most of my new clients get motivation from seeing and talking to my regular clients that have achieved and are achieving their goal. This shows them that it is achievable and not out of your reach!

I aim to increase your knowledge in both exercise and nutrition which in turn, will help you to help yourself towards achieving your goals. Why this works is that in the health and fitness world, knowledge is key. A good instructor will not only help you achieve your goals but improve your own knowledge.
